NKM stands for Nils Koster Music records.  
Nils Koster is a musician, composer, songwriter and conductor who is a highly respected talent in recorded music production.  

Nils started a recording studio together with Ger Lamerus in 2007. Recording folk music, shanties and singer-songwriter is a specialist area and Nils has mastered capturing the sound and performance of acoustic musicians. Many people in these genres appreciate Nils intelligent and relaxed approach to recording their music.  
NKM records specialises in maritime music, folk music, shanties and sea songs.
NKM records are based on the beautiful Dutch island of Vlieland. The studio is here and this is where we make most of our recordings.
